I want to buy a gaming monitor, but I can't decide. Either a 27 inch with Fast IPS panel, 0.8 ms response time. Or a 24 inch curved, with a VA LED panel with a response time of 1 ms.
Both monitors have 1920 × 1080 Full HD resolution.
The monitor is (mainly) required for the Ps4 and my PC.
I play shooters and sports games such as CoD, Battlefield, NBA, FIFA etc.
My question now would be what your experiences with gaming monitors have been. Especially related to the Ps4. And what kind of the above two you would lean towards.
If 27 inches is too tall or Curved is unnecessary, one of the panel types may not be so good, etc.

27 inches is bigger, and a shorter response time is always better, even if it's so little.

Find a 27 inch monitor too big for shooters. Got a new monitor 5 days ago. Because of flat or curved it doesn't really matter, personally I like curved much better.

I also have a 27 incher with Full HD. You can see pixels, especially when reading texts, if you pay attention to them. But disturbs less than you think or not at all. It's absolutely imperceptible in gaming.
Looks pretty good at first glance. With monitors, however, it is very important to look at tests on the Internet or on YouTube, as the pure technical data often doesn't have much to say. For example, 1980x1080 is not always the same sharp. The pixel pitch and the edges of the pixel are very important here. (narrow, square pixels = sharp image, round pixels with large distances = blurred) It even goes so far that I have a 10 year old 21 inch that has the same resolution as my new 27 inch. Nevertheless, you can clearly see that the 27 inch is sharper. Incidentally, I use the Gigabyte G27F and am very satisfied.
