I connected the monitor to a PS4. Can't decide on the optimal game mode. In game mode 1 the overdrive is set to strong, in game mode 2 the overdrive is set to "off". However, I find the color quality better than Mode 1. Does it need the overdrive setting or only noticeable in PC games?
At higher refresh rates, moving images can cause streaks (called ghosting). Overdrive tries to use more electricity than normal to compensate for this ghosting effect.
If you don't notice ghosting, then you don't need overdrive. Would experiment with it. If there's too much overdrive, reverse ghosting can occur (colors can be displayed incorrectly or green streaks appear, for example)
