Which laptop to cut for videos?

I have 2 laptops at home, I record videos with my PS4 and I do not know which computer renders them faster.

Laptop 1: CPU: i3; Hard drive: SSD 256GB; GPU: Nvidia Geforce 920M

Laptop 2: CPU i5; Harddisk HDD 500GB; APU: Intel HD Graphics (Intel® HD graphics for previous generation Intel® Core ™ processors) 500MHz

My guess is that the CPU is most important in rendering videos, so laptop 2 will probably be faster for that.

Beautiful good day

More power results in better cutting performance.

Nevertheless, both laptops are not really well suited because video data in huge amounts of data can degenerate which must be processed.

In addition, there are very good and less good i5 Cpu just like i7 and i3, but the i7 are designed for editing and gaming for example. Not necessary for a long time.

It's best to resort to an i7 back with a larger hard drive and ram or you get the space externally.

Nevertheless, if you choose one of them, take it with more power.

Yeah, I just want to know with which of them it might go faster, I do not want to get a new PC, I do not have any money for that and the one is new. Because of all the upgrades, I've also bought a PS4

It does not matter which of the two GPUs is installed. Are both just as bad and unsuitable for the GPU render.

The i5 is the better version but you can't expect much from the i5. RAM is also important.

But I do not know any i5 with HD5600, I'm only an i7-5700HQ known with HD 5600.

And the Intel i5-xxxx mobile also only has 2 cores.

Ergo: brine with a lot of time.

Today you can cut videos with EVERY laptop.

It depends on the video, it is SD, HD, Full HD or UHD.

With Full HD or UHD, you will not enjoy using both laptops.

Sorry that I comment.

Have no money, but buy a PS4? Well, then make video renderers with the PS4.

This is not correct in general:

And since one of the two laptops seems to be newer, it may possibly be an 8th generation i5, which would be good, since not too bad.

Much is possible but an i5- the eighth gene has no HD5600 (this he had written before he has re-edited his text).

And an i3 of the eighth gene will probably not have Nvidia 920m.

And the Intel i5-xxxx mobile also only has 2 cores.

There was an X too much. Should be called i5-5xxx

Sp

But it actually does not matter.

Then you have to describe the question a bit more precisely, especially the tech data.

One could also guess now:

iGPU 500MHz can also be an i5-460m. OR OR OR…
