Recently, the PS4 Nether Update for minecraft appeared and I wanted to ask if it is necessary to create a new world in order to be able to access the new content from Nether, such as the new biome. Do I have to create a new world or do the new biomes still appear in my nether?

If you were already in the nether, then it does not work. In Ps4 Edition you can reset the nether in the world settings. However, this only works on the Ps4 Edition and NOT on the Bedrock Edition.
On the PC it is so that you only have to load Die Welt on the latest version. Once you have done this, the contents of the latest version can be found in unloaded chunks, i.e. In places you've never been to. Maybe you'll try it out before you create a new world.
