How long does it take to receive an e-mail from PSN Support?

I, a user of a PSN account unfortunately slashed the access data for my account. Then a parent called the support personally. An employee allegedly said that it would take time until an e-mail with instructions was received in the inbox. Now more than 6 hours have passed since then. My fear is that one of my parents did not spell out the email address exactly, which probably did not matter. This error would only (if at all) be a decisive, missing point. However, I'm 99% deadly sure to have heard the point in the mention of the selected, new e-mail address.

That's why I'm asking, maybe write me, how long the mailing in general, an e-mail from Playstation support can take.

It would be unusual if large companies such as PSN would answer e-mails on the same day. They just get too many emails in, and being able to answer all on the same day is unrealistic, no matter how many people they have.

After several days I would call again, but otherwise not.
