Today after a long time I wanted to play Dead by Daylight on the Ps4 again. Then I was shown that it was downloading an update file. Suddenly, within seconds, the message came that my Ps4 was overheating and that I should turn it off. I didn't even get to it because it happened too quickly that the Ps4 shut itself down completely.
I switched the Ps4 back on, of course. Then I got the message that the Ps4 can't start & I should switch on my Ps4 controller. I have made-
Then came the message that I should put the latest system software version 8.00 on a USB stick in order to reinstall the version from the security mode. I also did-
Then I was shown that the Ps4 had successfully downloaded / updated the system update & that the Ps4 would now restart. From then on I thought that I was on the right path… But then, when the Ps4 wanted to restart, I came back to the beginning menu "The Ps4 can't be started" and so I should repeat all the steps with the update file this has been successfully indicated to me. I do not know how to continue. I don't want to reset my Ps4 because it has had so many memories, in-game purchases & much more for many years… There has to be some other solution? :/ I ask for help.
Stretch out, short-circuit the plug and leave it there overnight so that it can discharge completely. Always helped at least for me. It'll only cost you a night of waiting.
