I want to play Ark survival evolved on PC with my friends. We played it on Ps4 and there was a host border (also known as a host barrier). Are they also available on the PC and if so, can I enlarge them differently than on the Ps4? And has that to do with the RAM? Otherwise I would expand mine to 32 GB.
Depending on how many there are on it, 32 GB is much too much for smaller groups, 10 is enough, the CPU plays a role
Okay, is an i7-9750 with 6 core 12 threads and a clock of 3.5 GHz or 4.5 GHz boost clock sufficient?
Loosely if nothing else is on it if the game is still on you have to look
Such a server also requires port sharing
Can they be on the completely different side of the map or go to a cave without me?
Yes, you can
No, it has nothing to do with the Ram and yes the border is also available on a PC, but you can bypass it if you set the distance to the game master to 1000000000. LG DJ
