Ever since I sold my PS3 Slim to get a PS4, I'm considering adding a PS3 CECHC04, the old, backward-compatible, 60gb model. Finally, I also have PS2 games that I would like to play in optimal picture quality.
My question would be whether it is still worth getting this model needed, because I'm not sure if there were problems with the firmware regarding newer PS3 games.
PS: I'm aware of the YLOD risk, so theoretically I would have an open space on my cupboard where the air could circulate better.
Can you get a PS3 recommend you but the jailbreakers can then download games for free, play online with mods and PS1 and PS2 games also play on the Slim not only on the Fat PS3
It's not worth buying a Ps3 anymore, as the Ps3 games are either in better quality or newer versions, and we're also discontinuing the production of Ps3 games soon.
So if you want to play the newest games I would buy a newer model, for the ps3 no more games are made, so to my knowledge
