Which guitar to buy for someone who has no idea?

I have absolutely no idea about guitars. Which are good and which are not. What to look out for when buying. I'm also a beginner and have never played guitar. I would like to do it though. My question is, which one is right for me? I would also like songs such as Play from the PS4 game, the last of us (2) ". Those kinds of notes. I like the instrumental songs from the game very much. And that's the way I plan to play.

Is it a good idea to buy a concert guitar?

I found one here. Is it suitable for me?

Would rather buy a new one

If it should be a Yamaha (good sound, even for the cheap model)

If you want to strum and get used to the instrument, a Harley Benton is enough

Make sure to buy an acoustic (or concert guitar). No acoustic guitar, it is not beginner-friendly due to the hardness of the strings

I would also like to buy a new one. Good choice.

I have experience with both models, I started with a Harley Benton myself and it served me well for two years until I have the feeling that I now play well enough and now need a better sound (the Harley Bentons do not sound bad, in the Opposite). Then I switched to the Yamaha and now I have a nice Ortega that wasn't too expensive either. Doesn't have to be the 500 euro guitar, there are many good and cheap models

I like the first two from Yamaha. But could spend one to 200 euro max. Which other can you recommend to me. Or are the above mentioned enough for beginners? Which one would they have chosen. When it comes to a good sound? Lg

I think I'll buy it

Sorry, the selection is no good. E.g. Because you compare apples with pears. The Benton is a steel string acoustic guitar. You can't put them in a row with the Yamahas because the concert guitars are made of nylon strings.

Apart from that, my personal experience with Harley Benton: Bought a western guitar (selected in Thomann's shop, was ok for the price). Then get one from the warehouse packed. Unpacked at home: unplayable. Replacement guitar even worse. I then bought another brand for twice the price, without any problems so far.

If you have no idea, definitely not order one online.

I don't know what kind of music is played in "The last of us". Example would be helpful.

But: the guitar you have chosen is a concert guitar. You can certainly play a wide variety of music with it, but is that the sound you want?

An alternative would be a western guitar with steel strings.

There's a pretty good explanation here:

Ordering online leads to a bad purchase with a high degree of certainty. At least if you have no idea yet. Every guitar feels different and sounds different. You have to listen to them, take them in hand, should you ever listen to any that are more expensive or cheaper than the targeted budget.
