Guitar Hero / Rock Band for which console?

I just can't decide for which console I should buy the guitar, the drums and the game. I borrowed the Guitar Hero3 for Wii and 2 guitars from a friend some years ago and thought it was really nice…

I have a Wii, a ps2, ps3, ps4 and my friend the xbox360 and the one… Good for xbox I did not really want to get it (you never know when you will part.) The instruments are not synonymous think so Compatible with all consoles, so I can only buy them for one console. What do you think would be better? Wii or Playstation? And are those for z. B. Playstation 3 compatible with the ps4? And what's the difference between rock band and guitar hero? Are these then the same instruments? Can you possibly recommend a game? I'm totally overwhelmed. 😣 Please help me 😅
