I would like to get myself a new TV, but I hardly know myself with televisions. I have then seen the "Grundig 65 GUB 8866" at Medimax on offer, but unfortunately no reviews found for this device. I'm of course aware that the starting price of 1600 euro is completely out of thin air but still I find 65 inches / 4k for 600 euro quite tempting. But I'm afraid, that I rubbish myself because I fall for the typical advertising promises. Ansich my claims are not high (Netflix and Ps4, he would not be used for more) but would still stop as I said buy no garbage. I'll put the description down below. If it's rubbish, maybe jmd has other good alternatives (55-65 inches / 4k)?
Samsung seen from me the best TV.
Is really an exceptional price but otherwise look in the reviews of the TV
Basically, the technical data does not seem to be bad.
However, one would have to look at the picture more closely, because with large screen diagonals, it may well happen that the areal illumination fails unevenly.
You should also look at the overall brightness and color reproduction directly. But not with the turned up settings of the exhibition device.
It's best to bring a Bluray that you know exactly. And let's show you the same movie as 4K-Bluray, if it's possible.
Maybe you can do that with a Playstation 4 too. So you can tell if the TV "laggt" in fast games.
If the sound does not turn out so well, then you can optimally manage with a (possibly existing) music system. But even a good cinebar, with (ideally) three channels (L + Center + R) produces a very good and plastic sound.
Here is something like a review:

But correct and really detailed reviews (with measurements and diagrams), or reviews for this particular model, I unfortunately did not find.
And with different price search engines I found only prices from about 750 euro for the 65 "model, so I would say the price is ok.
And if you find the smart features unfit, just take an Amazon 4K FireTV, 4K FireTV Stick, Apple TV, or similar. And together with the media player "Kodi" you have a lot of additional options.
That's what I did with my older (FullHD / 3D) 55 "Samsung" D "series, because it has a single-core CPU and no keyboard or mouse can be connected, which was only possible with the successor device. The "E" series.
