Kingdom Hearts 3 DLC?

Own the Kingdom Hearts 3 game on Ps4; now something comes out but what is called "DLC". Is that the same "3" with the addition? Can you download it as a download (psn) and continue playing with the same "3" that I have?

Hi. A DLC is always an extension of the game. So this DLC extends the basic game. So the story continues but of course you have to buy it

It's just like any other DLC (Downloadable Content) an extension to the existing game.

You can of course play Kingdom Hearts 3 without the DLC, the DLC simply adds more content in terms of story and playable characters.
