How do I play Terraria online on PS4?

Me and my buddy want to play Terraria online on PS4. (Both have PS Plus) but whenever I invite him and he joins there's always something with network errors. But that can't be because we both have internet and both gamble with Lan cable.

We would be very happy to receive help
