Do I have to transfer the money back if the buyer did not read the item description correctly on eBay?

I recently sold a second-hand item on eBay that had minor defects. However, I explicitly mentioned these defects in bold in the article description. This does not happen to me for the first time, I have already sold this article about 4-5 times and had to stop it because the buyer bought the article directly without reading the article description and later said that he would withdraw from the contract and I should cancel the purchase. I did it 3 times now, because in the end it wouldn't have paid anyway. But it cost me 1-2 days each time. Now I have the same case that immediately transferred the money to me and now writes that I should transfer the money back to him and cancel the purchase contract because he was not aware of the lack. It's also not a big flaw you have to imagine a new PS4 controller, only the X button is pressed. It still works fine except for the x button, which is a little more difficult to use, but it also works.

But now I'm no longer in the mood for the laziness of the buyers to always have to straighten themselves and have to readjust the article. The money was transferred to me and the shortcomings were expressly mentioned in the item description. Can I just send the package to him without worrying about anything? Somehow about eBay buyer protection or something?

If it is clear, it is not your fault if the customer is careless.

so

If he sends you the article back, then yes.

For me it was the case that a woman bought a winter jacket from me and returned it 6 weeks later. She was probably on vacation with it. End of story: I had to give her the money back and got the jacket back.

As far as I know, if your item comes back broken, you don't have to give any money back

I would give the money back to him. The buyer is otherwise only stressful.

The next time you set it, write the heading "with DEFECTS".

There's also a "Defect" option - I would also tick it.

No you don't have to.

You also do not have to take back the goods.

Because when buying privately, the guarantee is excluded - and if you already indicate this in the item description and the buyer buys anyway, then the offer is accepted. There's no going back.

Legally, you don't have to take it back. But depending on who is sitting on the longer lever, this becomes simple or cumbersome.

If the buyer has transferred the money to your bank account, then ignore them. There's also no buyer protection on eBay with bank transfers, only when paying via PayPal.
Send him the package. Since he may be stressful, record this on video (packing, franking and post) with witnesses and send it off as a package, something with a tracking number. Then the following applies: out of sight, out of mind. However, you must keep the posting slip with the number. Easier if you create the label online. Cheaper too.

If the buyer has paid via PayPal, then it can depend on it. That decides Paypal. Since it is risky to send it off because you may remain sitting on the shipping costs and may still have to pay the return shipping if PayPal decides against you.

I'm surprised, however, that all buyers ignore the used information.

End of story: I had to give her the money back and got the jacket back.

Why did you have to do that?!

No private seller has to take back goods if they exactly match the item description, unless he was "clever" to offer PayPal.
