Right now I'm starting to play Playstation again, but the volume is annoying. I have the 7016 model, so one of the first with the, really loud fan.
So I screwed the days so the Ps4 Pro, new thermal paste and thermal pads changed and replaced the Nidec fan, for me was strangely enough already in the Nidec in there, which should indeed be quieter than the Delta fan. Incidentally, I play on the resolutions to Auto, but should ultimately always be 2160p YUF420.
Who has vlt. Any other ideas, what can I do to make the quieter?
Ours is only loud if she does not have enough space around it, so it gets too warm. She needs at least 2 hand wide air around. So just under 20 cm
My normally had always enough space, but I can also stand open and try again. Alternatively, I wanted to connect myself namely a PC fan, which then replaces the Nidec a little so that no longer has to turn too high.
Sounds silly, but maybe switch to the PC?
The PS4 is just loud, it annoys me tremendously how loud the part is. Especially since you actually often plays with speakers and the PS4 always hears in the background.
My PS4 is also free in the closet and I have the doors always open when I play.
Currently I prefer to play with my PC + Xbox Controller when it is connected to the TV than with the PS4.
I also use Pc a lot, but I grew up with consoles. Sooner or later, come back to a console again and again. Would just like to connect another fan there, but I do not think that the Ps4 comes so clear, especially because the fan has no software as the Nidec. What I'm trying now, if the right cables are there, somehow place an external 120mm fan so that it cools enough, so that the Nidec does not have to turn up.
