Why can't this Ps4 CD be read by Gta V?

I don't understand what's wrong with this CD.

There's a laser in a drive that reads data based on the reflections from the CD. Scratches break the light and the CD becomes unusable if there are too many (there's still an error correction up to a point, but you are beyond the point)

This has nothing to do with "important points". The CD has related sectors. Records are stored around the CD.

But that still can't be. I got this CD 7 months ago from a friend for a 10er, it had massive scratches just like now. I'm very clean with my CDs so nothing has changed since the purchase, only that it still worked a month ago. Scratches are not always the problem, I already had a lot of CDs with more scratches on them, which was nevertheless recognized

On the first picture. CDs and DVDs are always written from the outside in, and if even a few bits or bytes in the start area become irreparable due to scratches, the silver is over.
