I bought a system on Amazon and am now wondering whether and how I can connect it to my Ps4 in order to hear the sound through this system. I would need soft adapters to input the sound into the system via the jack plug. Sure, I could just connect the system to the monitor / television and then hear the sound, but for that I need extra meters of cable. So can I do this with adapters via the Ps4? If so, which ones (Amazon link would be nice.)

if the system has an optical input, the simplest would be a toslink cable. Because the ps4 has an optical output.
Investment on Amazon doesn't mean something bad. Why should I go to Mediamarkt or Saturn when I know what I want. However thank you for your help. Since the optical output is only for the sound, you should also hear the sound on the monitor at the same time if mab uses an HDMI cable, right?
Sorry, if it came across like that… What I actually meant by that is that it is just too unspecific. I.e. We don't know what we're up against. There are systems that have an optical input, which only have a normal analog input and even which have no such input at all.
