I've had a problem with the microphone from my headset since I got this pc. I also use this headset on the Playstation and it works perfectly there. On the PC I have already checked the settings to see if it is activated and I have already installed and updated the driver.
One day I noticed that my PC is receiving sound from my headset. With a light tap on the headset, I examined where the sound came from until I found out that the sound comes from the left ear (to which the microphone is also attached). I asked myself how it is possible and got an old headset and tried it on it. And the sound also comes from the ear. In a microphone test I could even hear my voice weakened. Since I have not found any solutions on the Internet that work, I simply had to ask. I would be very happy to have an answer
Hy,
very stupid question in advance. If you think your headset can receive audio on the PC, so you can e.g. Listen to music but your microphone for Discord, TS3 etc. Does not work, did you have a look at the data protection settings on your PC?
It may be that the data protection settings for the microphone are deactivated so that it is not allowed to use the microphone.
Check that out.
If that's not what you meant, I don't understand your question and would ask for a better description of your problem.
Music, sound and how it works. But not the microphone, which is not due to a cable break or something like that because it works with other receivers. The privacy setting also allows the microphone. Everything activated. However, sound from the microphone is received when I look at sound settings. The sound does not come from my microphone but from the ear cup?! If I speak into the left auricle, the PC recognizes a voice. But you can hear them very badly. I wonder how the headset does not pick up the sound through the microphone, but through the left ear cup. It is probably not because of the headset because I got a different one and it is the same problem. The microphone records sound on the console or on the cell phone. How do I get it that the voice is received by the microphone and not by the ear (where a speaker is actually installed)?
Ok now I understand that the headphones not only come from music, they also record your voice or noise like a microphone.
Ok that is strange and I unfortunately do not know any advice as to why something like this can happen. Vll knows someone else who looks here what you can do there
