Dualsense controller with PC?

I recently built a gaming PC, but I don't have a controller yet. Now I'm wondering if the features of the PS5's Dualsense controller work with PC games, or if that's just for Playstation games.

I'm not sure I think you have to connect a cable to the controller when you use steam in order to recognize it.

I mean, does the haptics work in the same way as with PS5?

I don't think I have something like that aber but of course it could be. For example, I use an xBox one controller and there are also the vibrations, but I'm not sure if they are the same
