I did some research and only read that 120fps at 4K is possible, is it true? Do you need a 4K monitor to get the 120fps? I'm grateful for any helpful answer.
Of course… The lower the resolution, the higher the FPS. I don't know what specs the PS5 will have, but 120FPS at 4K seems to me to be quite high.
You only have 4K at 120Fps in some indie games, nothing else is possible. The resolution has nothing to do with the fps, so you don't need a 4K monitor.
No but you need a 120fps capable monitor
And most games have an FPS limit of 60 anyway, some even of 30. To what extent that will change with the new consoles I don't know.
Thanks for your answer and I don't think that the Ps5 will manage 120fps at 4K
So only one monitor with 144fps and it should work with 120fps?
If the ps5 creates 120 fps then yes
If you have a 144 hz monitor, that's clear
120 fps at 4K, by the way, I doubt that high-end PCs usually don't manage that
The frame rate depends on the processing power of the console, not the monitor. You probably mean the image playback frequency of the monitor, but this has nothing to do with the FPS.
The new consoles can actually do real 120Hz, but certainly not at 4K
there won't be a limit of 60 this time the CPUs of the new boxes have enough power (even those of the relatively weak Xbox Series S)
