Does the watchtime on YouTube also go up when I record videos on the PS4 that are uploaded to YT private and then cut on the PC and then uploaded publicly to my PC?

After the public upload, the watch time goes up when someone watches the video. This is of course not possible with the private video.

Watchtime goes up when your videos are being watched, private videos will not be seen by anyone = no watchtime.

If it's private, it doesn't get any views / watch time. If you then cut it on the PC and put it online, you get views and watch time (when people watch it)

But I would advise you to use an editing program instead of the youtube thing there.
