In the past few weeks, (large) YouTube channels, videos have been blocked or demonetized. The voices for YT alternatives are getting louder again. There are alternatives, but (as of now) everyone is inferior to YouTube in terms of comfort, income opportunities and variety. Hence the question:
Could you imagine using a video platform other than YouTube to watch videos (TikTok etc. Of course does not count)? If so, does it have to be "technical" with Youtube or better?
At least in the live streaming area, you can see that YouTube and Twitch are no longer the only relevant streaming platforms, but that mixers and dlives (Pewdiepie) have also been added.
So maybe there's a possibility that a second relevant platform will form alongside YT.
If it's supposed to be a YouTube replacement. Definitely better, much better than YouTube.
Yes, and it's time. Not only de-monetization, but also subscriptions and notifications of unwanted channels that disappear in a mysterious way. I have often had the case that videos that I had already liked 100% of the time were unlatched at once, or I did not receive any notification of new uploads from a channel.
And just so that no misunderstandings arise, it is not about illegal content, but about politically unwanted content, such as those that deal critically with the content of radical feminism.
The sudden subscriptions also occurred to me, I didn't even know some subscribed channels.
Youtube is lucky that there's still no strong competition, but if I look at the development of some video platforms, YouTube could lose some users in a few months or at the latest years.

Why should it be different with other YouTube alternatives? The YouTubers just have to stick to the rule. And that would be no different with other platforms.
If they are blocked on YouTube, it will not be any different on other platforms.
So, finally rethink and just follow the rules.
