Is it possible to use 3 monitors for one PC and use one of them for the Playstation at the same time?

I have 3 monitors. Originally it was planned that 2 of them would be intended for the PC and the third for gaming. Now I wanted to ask if it was possible to switch the 3 monitor that was intended for gaming to a PC monitor when I'm not gaming. I also stream, i.e. A capture card is connected to this gaming monitor, otherwise I would simply solve the whole thing with an HDMI switcher. Is there a way to switch this monitor to the PC if I need all three monitors? What do I need for that?

Remote play is there for that. You can use it to transfer the image of the Playstation to a monitor from the pc, so to speak, and even control the console via the pc

So you can connect a Playstation and a PC and then always manually switch what you want to use, if that's what you mean

Thanks for the tip. I already know about remote play, but unfortunately it's not good for streaming. In addition, interference often occurs between the Playstation and the PC.

Most current monitors have a Displayport connection and at least one HDMI connection. Simply connect the monitors via DP and the Ps4 / Ps5 via HDMI. Usually you can simply select which source should be displayed on the monitor. I don't understand where the problem is?

On the one hand, you need a graphics card that also supports 3 monitors.

Some monitors have multiple inputs. In such a case, you could then connect both the PC and the PlayStation to the monitor and then switch the input signal as required.

Otherwise you can also use a switch. You would then connect the PC and PlayStation to the switch and then to the monitor.

What kind of capture card do you have?
If this passes the signal through, you can simply connect it between the monitor and the PlayStation or the switch and the PlayStation.

That's right, I never got the idea. I'll try it out and then get in touch again.

Thanks, I now have a capture card from Elgato. Try that out. I tried the same with my old one and unfortunately it didn't work.
