I plan to buy a Ps5 (as soon as they are available again). Now the digital edition costs 100 euro less, hence my question: Is the only difference between the normal Ps5 and the digital edition really just that the digital edition has no drive? Or are there also quality differences? Because, I mean, 100 euro just because of the drive is quite a lot.
Yes is just the drive
Only differs in the drive; the digital one doesn't have one, the other one already.
The performance is exactly the same, the difference is the drive. With the PS5 Digital you don't have a drive and you have to buy all the games from the Playstation Store. That said, you can't save any money buying and selling used games.
I would recommend buying the 499 euro version with a drive, you can get the 100 euro more quickly if you buy used games more often.
Yes does not give less performance is really just no drive
This is what I wrote.
The performance of both consoles is exactly equally weak.
The drive is the only difference.
Maybe you could take the case as the difference, but that's only different because of the drive.
