No the plugs are not that heavy. You just have to place it correctly. Then put some solder on the soldering iron. Hold the plug with your finger and solder a contact a little.

Then solder the other contact properly and then solder the first contact again.

Use it to go to a repair cafe… If they happen again. Soldering the connector is a breeze if you can solder. If you can't do it or you don't have a soldering iron for electronics but for gutters, you will quickly break a lot more than it was before!
