My Ps5 that I received on Friday is unfortunately broken.
she suddenly stopped running after the first 3-4 hours of optimal running. The screen briefly flashed green and it went out. When I turned it on again, it only really worked after starting up 3-4 times. After that, however, there was no error code but a display that said it was a software error. I reported it and tried again the next day, but it went off again after about 1 hour. Then I tried to turn it on and after 3-4 times it started up again as at the beginning, but this time there was no indication that it was a software error but only that it was not switched off properly, hence my assumption that the power supply is broken. My question now would be is it worth it that I call Sony support tomorrow and talk to them or should I just send them back so that I get my money back (to Otto) and wait for a new wave of orders. But don't want to hope to get one again and then you won't get anything.
I'm grateful for any help.
I would call Sony first
It's so annoying. I've been waiting almost 3 months to get one and now I have one and then something. The problem is that if I send them there and they don't find anything or anything, then I can no longer send them to Otto if I'm unlucky because the 30 days are over before I'm a little afraid that I will end up sitting on a broken one.
I know… I also wait for a ps5 all the time! Since day one, maybe Sony can tell you exactly what the problem is! I've called there before
Okay I'll try my luck and see what they say.
