Play Minecraft on PC and PS4 together?

I and my buddy want to play normal Minecraft in survival together. I on the PC and he on the PS4. There's the possibility with the app "Pocketmine-MP" to join a server with a PS4. I have created a server on "Aternos" with the PC and he should join it.

However, this does not work.

So my question:

Is there a way to simply survive, for example another server, can I join the actual server created by "Pocketmine-MP"?

Which minecraft version do you have the Java or bedrock?

Sorry, that is not possible. The current version on the PS4 is Bedrock, which is written in a completely different programming language. So you can't play Bedrock (C #) together with the Java Edition (Java). Unless you install Bedrock on the PC, you won't be able to play through Aternos Server. I don't know much about Bedrock, so I can't say if you can, and if so, how to play PC Bedrock with PS4 Bedrock. It is actually the same version
