I actually wanted to connect several monitors (3 monitors in addition). I have just connected 1 monitor, but unfortunately I have no more HDMI slots available (I still have a PS4 that also uses an HMDI slot because I have a capture card). I was considering buying a USB to HDMI cable / adapter but I need more USB ports or HDMI ports. Does anyone have any idea how I can get more HDMI / USB connections without affecting my quality?
There are USB hubs that should work.
Does that mean that I can then plug a USB to HDMI cable / adapter into every USB hub?
You connect the hub to the PC. Then you have several USB sockets on the hub for the devices. Should already be a USB 3 hubs, because of the speed
Just search for hubs and what suits you. Usually only USB to another USB and for HDMI you would need an additional adapter.
Yes, but my question is whether it works the way I imagine, so that I can then connect USB to HDMI then to each individual USB 3, not that there will be complications (image signal is not supported or something)
Does that mean that I can then plug a USB to HDMI cable / adapter into every USB hub? And then for example. 4 monitors because I have 4 USB inputs on the hubs?

Here would be a USB hub.
You could then connect an adapter for USB to HDMI.

I don't know whether your project with the monitors will work, because the image is actually output by the graphics card.
Should go, but I've never tried it, so I can't guarantee my statement.
