Ebay Classifieds Ripped Off

So… I got two Playstation 5 consoles from a private seller on eBay for classified ads. Unfortunately, I always have the feeling that this is just a rip-off.

He wanted me to pay via real-time transfer. (I did it too)

Then he sent me the shipment number and the receipts for the shipment that he registered online.

The status now is that he is supposed to be sending the package tomorrow…

I have screenshotted all chats, as well as his nunmer.

I have his address and his first and last name (as long as they are not fake).

I also have two account numbers from him. (Allegedly his own and his brother's.)

What can I do if the console is not shipped to me? Is there a way to get my money back? Is the data sufficient for a report to the police?

Is there a way to get my money back?

No. Usually not.

Is the data sufficient for a report to the police?

If it is fake data, then you are there with 0 goods & money anyway.
Even if the data is real, you will be 99.9% without goods or money.

What can I do if the console is not shipped to me?

See it as a lesson & next time eBay Klein. Use as intended. If you've been cheated on, it's your own fault. Simple and poignant.

In the case of classifieds, it actually sounds like fraud, you only have a throwaway email. The personal information is fake. The account number can belong to a third party. He has nothing to sell…

your money is gone.

what is classifieds exclusively intended for…

You can't get hold of the money just like that.

If nothing comes, you can file a complaint with the police, but you won't get your money back automatically.

You would theoretically have to sue the alleged seller under private law. And that becomes really expensive without the appropriate insurance.

Nope, you bought it quite voluntarily.

Unfortunately, I always have the feeling that this is just a rip-off.

And does this realization come to you only after the real-time transfer?

Is there a way to get my money back?

Not without a lawyer.

Is the data sufficient for a report to the police?

Try out.

Oh yes: Why do you click away instead of reading it?:
