I connected my second monitor via display port (144hz) to the PC and via HDMI to my Ps4. However, if I switch the monitor to HDMI and switch on the Ps4, I can still drag my Windows windows to the 2nd monitor from the PC. Can you somehow set it so that this is not possible, or do not open windows that were last open on the 2nd monitor again there?
Press Windows Key + P and you can choose where the content should appear. For example, then only on the second screen, then you select "Second screen only".
The problem is that I have a total of 3 monitors and 2 of them on the PC and the third one on the consoles
Of course that changes a lot, Windows doesn't get along with that alone, I think an on-screen program that focuses on multiple displays could help, but I don't know which one could. One solution that comes to mind is to first unplug the cable from this monitor to the PC.
Pulling it out helps, I know that, but I don't feel like removing the cable every time. Could you possibly. Check out what this program is called? It just feels like the console image is shown, but I can trz. Working in the background (which I don't see) with the mouse on the screen and even dragging things back and forth.
Yes, that's really annoying. And that's not a feeling, it's really like that. I can't quickly check whether it has it, but https://www.displayfusion.com/ is the best-known program for managing multiple monitors. The free version is limited, but have a look if it works.
It works, I've now done it with multitool, but has to trz. Open the program every time and switch off the monitor. Is there no solution where the PC recognizes whether the monitor is on DP e.g. "true" and if it is set to HDMI "false"?
