I received the PS5 from my parents today. Now I need a suitable TV that is suitable for gaming etc. And on which I can really get everything the PS5 has to offer. Do you have any suggestions for models? 4K would of course be a must and the lowest possible delay.
TCL C715
Then you better get a gaming monitor with 120hz that has little delay than a tv
Do you also play fast multiplayer games like shooters? If not, you don't need a TV with HDMI 2.1 (4K - 120fps). Then you have a much wider choice of TVs!
Basically what a TV should do for the PS4 / Pro.
Refresh rate of at least 60 Hertz.
a low response time.
if possible the latest standards of HDR & Dolby Vision.
VRR would also be recommended (but only really necessary for fast multiplayer games).
Knickknack again ALLM & nen game mode, the modern TV's have inside anyway & if not, you just turn off the image enhancers manually.
I don't think much of any onboard sound technologies & don't know my way around either. TV speakers generally always suck, even if, for example, Dolby Atmos "can be output. I use a 5.1 home theater system with HD sound đŸ™ˆ
Then buy a monitor:
My recommendation:
ASUS VP28UQGL
It has 4k and is great value for money.
But watch out, it measures 28 inches. That's big, but since you wanted a TV it probably fits.
So I don't think I would recommend a TV to you for something like that, so guess what. In my opinion, games that are played on the television often do not need 1 ms response time.
But if you want a TV that can cope with the PS5, you could take a look at the Asus ROG PG43UQ (43 inches, 4K, 144Hz, Freesync and Gsync are also integrated). The part does not have 1ms response time, but with such display sizes and resolutions that is not so easy to achieve.
But if you really want a 1ms response time, then I recommend the LG 27GN950-B. It combines 4K, 1ms and 144Hz.
Thanks for all the information. Unfortunately you are referring to the Ps4. I now have the PS5 and accordingly want to play in 120 Hz, where I can't get past HDMI 2.1.
60Hz. If then I would use a 144 Hz for the Ps5
The answer applies to all three consoles.
The first paragraph explains it. Many are looking for HDMI 2.1 even though it is superfluous to them.
But if you need it, then it will fit.
You're welcome.
Yes, if you're interested in hz, I'm more interested in things like the response time (1ms).
So I have the monitor myself but there are also asus monitors that have up to 165 hz.
e.g. ASUS VG248QG
I would google it, then you are sure to find something…
