Ps4 and pc purchases connect?

I recently bought a code for Apex Legends. (1000 Coins) Since the code was for Origin I had my account linked to the Psn account. Then at Origin I entered the code and got the coins. Then I started ps4 and opened apex, but the coins were not charged to the account. Anyone tips? 😰

I assume that you can use the coins only on the PC. It's clear if you buy Coins for Origin and not for PS4. It does not matter if you link the account.
