I would like to buy the video game "Avengers" for the PS4 and wanted to know beforehand what to expect there. I googled whether this was an open world game and got different answers. Is there someone here who has the game himself and knows whether / to what extent it is an open world game.
No, it is not an open world game. Areas are automatically generated for each mission, through which you can then beat your way relatively linearly. You can theoretically generate almost any number of missions and create new areas over and over again, but these do not form coherent worlds and are not so big in themselves that you can move around them completely freely.

Enjoyment is such a thing. No, I don't have the game itself and the story was named as the greatest strength in tests. After that, effectively the grind remains for better and better equipment with which to strengthen your heroes for future runs.
