I got to know the game "Little Nightmares" through the "Soundcloud" website. How can that happen on a website where you can listen to music? Do not ask me, this is a strange story… 😂😂😂
Still, I'll tell you: I listen to songs in the "Soundcloud" every day. So I rummaged through the songs on the Soundcloud again that day. That day it was Among Us songs that were on the agenda. Then I just let the songs go on and then after a Among Us song there was a song from "Rockit Gaming" about the game "Little Nightmares II". (It probably played because the artist duo also released songs about Among Us, for example Lies, Red Sus, Better Off Dead.) Then yesterday I Googled the title of the song just for fun. (The song is called "Little Nightmares pt. 2", but I only entered "Little Nightmares") I also looked at pictures of the game and actually I didn't think it was creepy. I also didn't find the characters and surroundings that scary at all.
The problem: I have two little brothers (8 and 2) who definitely wouldn't be able to cope with it. With the two-year-old it is clear that he would have nightmares, but the eight-year-old is even afraid of games that are like Minecraft or that are set in a really cute world (the games he is afraid of are called "Dragon Quest Builders "and" Unravel ") But according to him, even these games are scary and he gets nightmares. So he's clearly not ready for something like that.
I would like to play the game, but my brothers always make my parents refuse to let me. For example, if I want to watch a film on TV ONE TIME (!) From the age of 12, I'm immediately forbidden because my little brothers are there.
Now I would like to know about you:
To everyone who has already played the game or knows it: Is the game really so scary that you can't cope with it (especially the eight-year-old)?
Do you know any way I could persuade my parents that I can have it even though my little brothers are there?
Then when could I play it without my brothers "having to" see it? (When someone is playing, the whole family (except for my father 😂) is always watching, unless they are not there.)
Should I just forego the game BECAUSE OF MY BROTHERS? (I don't really want that!)
An alternative would of course be that I watch it on YouTube?
Do you think it's even something for me (from age)?
This is the cover of part 1 ⤴️
And that's the cover of part 2 ⤴️ (so that those who don't know it can get a little impression of the game and the animations)
The information on the age rating is not free. The game is not for eight year olds.
You should rather be considerate of the others. The game is not suitable for 8 year old kids
You can't buy the game from 16 anyway, but you can buy the game from 12 but play it alone and not with your little brothers.
Because of the two-year-old I worry less, most of the time they can't process the content or understand it to the point that direct feelings of fear arise.
It's different with your eight-year-old brother, of course.
In general, as an old, bourgeois adult, I don't believe in doing anything secretly. As a budding adolescent adolescent it would of course look different, in my youth the doctors had brought out the song Please… (The song was on the index for writings harmful to young people, I don't know if it is still like that today, so I don't write out the title) and I really wanted the single. My parents were of course totally against me buying the single (my father knew the content). Ergo, the next time my grandparents visited, I persuaded my grandpa that I could buy it. My father wasn't so happy about it, but I had cheated on my grandparents and they didn't know the content.
But back to your problem, at least one game is from 12, so I think you should be mature enough. However, you should work with your parents to find a solution. Maybe you have a second TV or monitor somewhere in a separate room where you can play.
My brother is about 3 years younger than me and had to go to bed earlier. If I wanted to play something on the C64 in the evening, I could do that in my parents' bedroom, where there was a second television. So my brother had his peace when he should go to bed and I could play. Maybe you can also find a rule that you only play the game in the living room when your brothers have to go to bed.
We only have one TV in the living room anyway. Thank's for the Tipps.
7 I'm the brother of RGS7FE1HMSLG and I just don't want her to buy the game. I already have a game from RGS7FE1HMSLG and I got nightmares almost every day… 😬😟😖
I'm not eight either. I'm 12, soon to be 13. That means I can play the game without any problems!
Although the game isn't even scary 😂
Strangely, I discovered another cover that says something different about the age rating. I think I'll add it quickly…
So on the other cover it says:
• USK: 12
• PEGI: 16
What should I hold onto now?
From part 1 I mean
But a little
