Epic Game - Switch Fortnite Account on PS5?

My son had previously linked Fortnite to the Epic Game account on his Switch. Now he finally got his PS5 today. We tried to link the Playstation to the account via the EpicGames website (account / connected accounts) … Incidentally, both accounts are connected here, we have already tried to disconnect the switch, but unfortunately nothing happened). I got an email that PlaystationNetwork was successfully linked to the EG account, but nothing of it can be seen in the Fortnite account on the PS5. Not the correct name (but the ID name that he entered when logging in to the PS app), no skins, etc. Under Settings, however, you will find the (very long) number of the EpicGame account. Can someone please help us?
