Today my PS4 hard drive is lubricated and I had to do a complete reset with software, etc., etc. The full program.
I have almost finished AC Odyssey including DLC and now my savegame is gone because the PS4 only loaded the game from 1 month ago into the cloud.
My buddy is as far as I'm, however, and I wondered if I could use his savegame.
At first I thought that would not work because a savegame is tied to the user.
However, my buddy only plays offline because he has no internet at home. If I now log into my PSN account in their user and then upload the savegame to the cloud, shouldn't that work? Since there was no online connection of the savegame with him.
I would be happy to receive answers. Of course I don't feel like playing hundreds of hours of games again. And since I've only recently acquired the DLCs, that's twice as annoying.
If the savegame is not linked to a PSN account, this could possibly work. You can also use a USB stick for this. You need a PSN account to upload to the cloud.
Then I try it with a USB stick
Logging into your PSN account would also be possible in principle
But then your account is bound to its user forever.
