In many threads you have already helped me with the power supply and GPU. Thanks a lot for this!
I now have a few stomach pains with the setting of everything.
I'll summarize briefly, I don't want to overclock, just handle it normally and be able to stream under normal FPS's.
AMD Ryzen 7 2700x runs at 3.7 GHz (car in the BIOS) and balanced in "idle" and Ulti performance when playing (then it has around 4.1 GHz)
GSKILL 16GB DDR4 (DUAL mode) with XMP profile 2933 MHz
XFX RX 590 Fatboy 8GB
Intel M2 512 GB
ASUS 27 "unfortunately> 60Hz, 1ms, display port
The games all run in the standard profile, usually all high and in the AMD adrenaline I set it to e-sports.
I also stream on twitch with around 60 FPS and a ~ load of 5-15% of the CPU. It doesn't matter but only the value of the FPS bother me, I don't know if it's because of the stream. I achieve a maximum of 70-90 FPS in Valorant, no matter under which settings in the game and in the adrenaline of AMD.
I put the system configuration on all 8 cores as well as the game mode of WIN10.
I'm attaching a few more screens to you and hope you have a tip whether it is just normal here or if I'm slowed down somewhere.
Best regards and stay healthy.
What strikes me immediately; your CPU has only 4 activated cores, not eight. Not to be confused with the 8 threads that are shown, these are only the simultaneous calculations that can be processed to the maximum.
I have a 1800X and it runs twice as fast in the CPU tests; I was astonished at first. Now you can best see where the cores are deactivated / activated in the BIOS. The option to do this is available, just look in the manual of the board.
Of course, this should of course also result in correspondingly higher performance. Especially when it comes to streaming, because four additional activated cores means much more distribution of power and more potency for the game. )
Kind regards,
Sorgenfred
Now I only see the update; that should have done a lot with the performance, I suspect? Depending on the quality of the streaming, this naturally also has an impact on performance.
However, you can deactivate the game mode as a test, which has problems here and there with assigning the right priority to the corresponding processes. May be that this also has a negative impact on the streaming software.
And since this Valorant is still a non-finished product, you can't say to what extent it will be optimized later. The values don't seem so wrong to me now either.
