Would you rather
youtuber
or
Live Streamer
Youtube:
Advantages:
Very well known / You can watch videos whenever you want
Disadvantage:
Cutting videos / takes a long time before people see the videos / make thumbnails
Livestream (eg Twitch, Mixer.com, …)
advantage
No thumbnails / no cutting
Disadvantage:
It's all live / Lots of time to play
I do not care about the site. ^^ I think Twitch, where I would have to get more information.
Streams are quieter and you can deal better with your people.
There's too much of both on the internet that it makes sense to start now. I do not look at either one or the other. I rarely watch a video of hand of blood, because I think its kind funny.
Otherwise, I use lets plays or streams rather to see if I could like a game myself or not.
There are already so many Youtubers. Also had a channel last year but I did not want to cut the viedeos and make thumbnails like I would rather play my games live (yes, you can also stream them and upload them to youtube if you want).
The market is oversaturated.
Live streams run at stupid times and most creators can't listen / watch for more than 5 minutes. Because they play and talk like squirrels on speed, or worse.
:)
Achieving something on Youtube is now impossible. And if you do manage to get it hardly any money and every second video is now anyway marked as not applicable.
On twitch or blender you have it hard at the beginning, but if you have a few Stamzuschauer always come more. In addition, a viewer is worth much more than a click on Youtube. You can interact with them directly.
And if you want to make money, a sub gives you 2.50 euro and if you have a lot of viewers then in a month more will come together like you would ever do on youtube in a year.
