Moin, I would like to set my microphone so that it only works as soon as I speak loudly, or from a certain volume. My keyboard is a bit loud and since I want to stream on twitch soon, I don't want anyone to hear the keyboard noises. With Call of Duty Warzone, I was able to set it that way. Now I would like to set it generally on Windows 10. Does anyone know if and how that works? Don't find much about it on the internet.
You need a gate somehow. That only opens at a certain level. Of course, when it is open, it lets your key noises through. So when you speak loud enough it opens up and lets your talking and everything else through. I don't think there's anything in Windows 10 though.
But maybe additional programs will help you something. For example https://vb-audio.com/Voicemeeter/banana.htm
Thank you!
Aloha!
If you want to stream on Twitch, you can simply activate the Noise Gate in OBS.
