Folks, I don't understand this youth language.
Cringe, weired, bratan, kiss on the eyes, safe, Digga and all that filth, somehow I don't know 99% of Youtubers and Twitch was also unknown to me.
I can still translate the English, but all the Arabic and so no plan.
People only talk about foreign and invented stuff.
There are people over 30 who also talk like that, I'm in my mid-30s and somehow far away from it
How is it with you guys?
How old are you?
Not because I'm specifically interested in it, but because it just comes under my nose a lot and I just know what the words mean.
I know what people are saying, but I don't use most of the words.
There are a few exceptions, like "Lost" or "Cringe", which I also say every now and then, but mostly I also use the German word because I often change words so as not to use just one word too often. Sounds strange, doesn't it?
I'm only 19, but I can't do much with many terms. But find them absolutely annoying and pointless, probably because of it
What does bratan mean?
But I don't care. It's just a shame about our beautiful language, which is therefore completely abused.
I'm 21. I understand, but I don't see any reason to talk like that myself.
Brothers
Aha thank you 👍
Why Digga goes safe 😂
Brother or brother. Is Russian. Edit: too late. XD
Is that why the bra comes instead of the bro?
Jo
I also had to google it
High School?
It's completely different in France, where people are proud of their language
Well, they are ahead of us in some things… I also find it sad…
Interview in 5 years
Yo digga everything fit with you and kiss your eyes at the distance.
Job: German teacher
That would be it…
I hope that the people who use words like that today will eventually grow up and speak normally.
Yes, but don't know why you should make that dependent on it?
The secondary school student speaks 90% the language.
This is due to the mentality and the way they deal with them
Never pull everyone together… It's absolutely stupid
I speak from experience and area.
But it doesn't mean that everyone is like that
There are enough people with high school diplomas who speak like that
Yes, of course, I only meant that this often occurs in general in the area of secondary school, is also due to the migration background.
But the main reason for this is also social media, in my opinion. It doesn't matter what level of education the person has. Young people in particular pick up a lot and use these words without partially knowing what it means. As I said, no matter what level of education
