Steam Link spins in language selection when setting up?

I once got a Steam Link and wanted to connect it in the living room. But I don't get very far because he's already crazy with the set-up. If you should choose the language at the beginning, it will not respond to the Xbox controller and will jump from language to language.

Has anyone had this problem or knows how to work around it? Couldn't find anything on Google yet.

The Steam Link seems to mess around if you use a controller to set it up. With the mouse and keyboard it was no problem.
