Twitch - what's that next to the chat box?

What is that little sign? Every time I watch a stream longer, I "collect" things there. Since I'm not a subscriber, can't that be an emote?

These are channel points. If you click on this you can spend it on things that the streamer has set. E.g. That your next message will be highlighted or something similar.

These are channel points. You get them for watching and when you click on a box that pops up regularly every few minutes. You can then redeem this for, for example, unlocking emotes, highlighting VIP status, message and other custom stuff that the channel owner has set. You get that automatically with a Twitch Affiliate.

These are channel points, if you look for a longer time you get some, if you go on it you see a little choice depends on what the streamer had for ideas, there's usually a message, certain emotes or other things sometimes funny, it also says how much you have Channel points for what needed and the 540 are the ones you currently have. If you choose something there, of course, the points will be deducted, but you get new ones anyway, it's like a little conversation on the side.
