I wanted to ask if you can, for example, Minecraft, Roblox or sims 4. My mother always watches an Anwallt and said this and that. And I wanted to start with Youtube, and really go through it. But I don't know whether this is illegal or legal now, and whether it is allowed. Maybe someone knows? Lg Laura
Have you ever looked at Rewi, Paluten, Glp? They do that too, right?
Yes, but maybe they have a permit and have paid for it or something?
So you are basically 16 and over, but if your mother tells you you are allowed to do that, you could start on YouTube.
Everything is also free
Like every platform, Youtube has special editions. I do YouTube myself and have been confronted here and there. The problem is not the game itself, the problem is the background music (from games, films, …), which brings in most of the "strikes" (ie "warnings") or demonetization. With Roblox, Minecraft and Co. I would pay attention to music. Roblox has a lot of scenes with music that is not GEMA-free. In Minecraft, just turn off the music, the rest is doable. There's one more thing you have to consider. If you upload Let's Plays, you have to have the respective game in the title of your video AND insert the game via YouTube search. To be honest, nothing has ever happened here. Just like I said: Music is what you have to pay attention to.
Hope I could help you!
Best regards
PS: Don't rely on TV. Most of what is going on there's scripted and not related to real situations. If you need help, search the internet and official sites rather than watching television.
They do it full-time. There are no problems with them simply because almost everything is sponsored. So you can hardly compare it
Many Thanks.
