I want to call myself "Ravenous" on Twitch, but there's a film and apparently someone has registered this brand.
Company from Poland: https://register.dpma.de/DPMAregister/marke/registerhabm?AKZ=012625877
And there's another film that sounds similar.
Can I still use this name?
Nothing will happen to you like this, unless you become really known and the company becomes aware of you, they could possibly accuse you.
I wouldn't do it because the name is probably patented. Just call yourself similar.
Call yourself Rawenouzzz!
😉
I have a company crawling around with the same lettering as DPD. Even the color of the font is very similar. If that works, you can call your YouTube channel something similar to the sounds. The German alphabet has only 24 letters. 🤡
You could call yourself "R4ven0us" or "Ravenxxs". Or you add numbers and some special characters and hope that this is allowed. But I can't imagine that you'll get problems because of that. As mrz42 wrote, the company probably won't even notice you. I hardly believe that they search every social network for their name. There are so many unknown accounts that would take years.
I don't know what Twitch. Since you will hardly be in the same Nice class as the Poles, it doesn't matter. In this case, the film is of no interest.
So it's about Nice class?
Yes, protection applies only to them.
So the last time I counted it was 26
I don't count it like that. Especially in the morning without coffee… 🤡
Understandable
