Streamers, but what to stream?

When you're on Twitch day or night, what kind of people do you like to watch?

Or what kind of games would you like to see? I would be really interested, because in the Freundeskreis nobody is really on Twich.

I would appreciate a lot of feedback.

De

Tfue> <(if you understand some English)

Ed

What exactly do you like about Tfue?

au

Trymacs xD

Fa

Do something with minecraft? Always goes down well when you play with the community.

De

Its kind.

Ed

What do you mean exactly?

for example, what could I play so that people could join in?

Ed

Are there any german streamers you watch?

Fa

Imagine a topic, or check out the RTGames YouTube channel for inspiration. Hope it helps you further!

al

I like to watch streams, in which the chat interacts and talks and maybe some RocketLeague, Minecraft or similar is played.

Ed

Thank you! I will do

Ed

Sounds good, but how come you click on a streamer that has few viewers? ^^

Jo

I mostly only watch English streamers because I don't like most German streamers and certainly not the big ones like Montana or Knossi, I have nothing against the people but I just don't like the content and people don't play casino games.

The streamers that I watch the most are:

Sodapoppin
Lirik
Nmplol
It was found
CohhCarnage

With the Germans it is:

Gronkh
PhunkRoyale
KayaZockt (freshly added, I take a look now and then)

Otherwise, I always look who is online when none of the people mentioned is online. I have some on the list but I don't really have to name them.

The streamers play all kinds of games, which is probably what I find most interesting. From story to trash games, as long as there's variety, I also like to watch it.

I rarely watch streamers like Summit1g or TimtheTatman because most of them only play FPS games and always the same for days to months. In general I'm hardly interested in the whole Fortnite, CoD, LoL and GTA 5 streamers, but for the general public this is very interesting, so I would recommend doing something in the area, otherwise stream what you want.

For me, streams only run on my 2nd monitor by the way, I rarely look really active, but they are always on. I only switch it off when I myself play a very story-based game where I don't want to be disturbed.

Ed

Thank you for your detailed reply. I also thought about playing different games, but my ulterior motive is always: why should someone click on it if they have less than 10 spectators

It is difficult for me to bring content when few people write in the chat, but I have already collected some ideas and would have to try them out

Jo

Yup, the one with the few spectators is probably one of the most difficult hurdles I would say. If there are no viewers chatting, then as a streamer you can't have so much conversation, and talking to yourself all the time is also strange, but many do.

There are some people who are looking for small streamers to just be there when the community grows.

I myself have also watched a few streamers that have around 10-20 viewers, for example there's a streamer who is Japanese and lives in Japan but can speak German quite well. Something I find interesting because I like Japan very much so I stop by from time to time.

I also watch some small streamers in Japanese to learn the language better. I also leave my Prime subscription with some of them to support it.

There are more and more streamers at the moment and many of them are just boring. This has grown quite a bit in the last few years and everyone feels they want to be a streamer. The Corona period makes it a little bit stronger.

One should not forget that one has to get by with few spectators for years, and even then the "success" is not there for everyone. In my opinion you need 1. Damn good luck nowadays 2. You have a very strong skill like Shroud, Ninja and Co. Or 3. You are already known through Youtube or what do I know.

Lo

So, streaming games is done by everyone.

Do something that nobody else does.

al

This is a good question

So personally I'm always happy when smaller streamers are happy about every follow and viewer, so I watch, if at all, almost only smaller streamers.

Facecam usually makes a big difference (quality and kb is available)

Ed

Yes, of course I try xD But it is very difficult to do something that nobody has done so far ^^
