What is good free software for recording a screencast?

I have to record an instructional video for my fellow students (computer scientists) for next week. For this I need software that, among other things, Should be able to:

Record my screen and / or record windows on my screen
Record my voice
Can cut multiple videos together

I don't want to show my face, just the screen (not like on Twitch). I want to show a PowerPoint and record a new video for each slide. I also want to code and run the code in some Jetbrains editor. Also as a separate video. Finally, I would like to combine all of the videos into one larger video.

PS! It would also be cool if I could somehow show things with the mouse; so that you know where to read

I would put everything in a drive on Google… Or are there better alternatives for storing videos? Shouldn't be public, but only visible to a small group of students.

You can google that.

If you just enter screencast on google, you will get several suggestions. The programs from the universities are mostly free and not bad at all. (TU Darmstadt or RTW Aachen, e.g.)

You can also find some great tips here.
