My friend has been streaming diligently via PC over the classic OBS on Twitch.tv for 3 months.
Now she has bought a Nintendo Switch and would like to integrate it into your streams from time to time.
Therefore, I wanted to know whether you should still prefer the expensive capture cards these days or whether the cheaper ones also serve the purpose without any problems.
Furthermore, this should transmit low latency.
Incorporating delays unfortunately deteriorates the quality of contact with your viewers.
Which capture cards do you use and what kind of latency have you built in?
Is it too expensive?
Keep an eye on these and the 60S. However, when I was on YouTube, a Youtuber presented cheap alternatives with lower latency. Some of them have a delay of 200 ms and this 600 ms or higher. And yes, that's a lot of money for our wallet at the moment.
I would buy something from Elgato. It's really expensive, but you have something that will last you a few years and will do its job.
The cheapest option is a Camlink, but then you have to use OBS as the output. Since only one software can access the Camlink at a time.
It all runs with a delay on OBS right? 😅
Well, it just runs via USB and is actually intended for a camera.
But it's cheap and does its job.
Joa then I would take what was suggested in the video with the one.
Otherwise I don't know anything cheap or good on the subject.
