10700k PC vs 3700x PC?

Moin Leudeee,

I would like to build a new PC and have two PCs, but I can't decide which of the two to use.

Here the two PCs: https://geizhals.de/...WL-1711114 (10700k) and https://geizhals.de/...WL-1701896 (3700x). I would build a 3070 for both, but there are no offers yet

Which of the two PCs is better? Would like to play things like Minecraft PvP and Shooter (Valorant as an example) in FHD with the PC. And then stream it often in 1080p @ 60 (on Twitch).

Which of the two pcs would you choose? And would you improve something on each one? Budget is around the Intel build. Please give reasons

The first one doesn't have enough cooling. But for 1500 euro, a 2080 should actually be super in there.

A 2080S is included, but not if you also want RGB. And I don't think the Ventus looks very nice either

Fr

My dear schnitzel. But it was made clear to you the day before yesterday that you should buy a PC with the Ryzen (much better price-performance, in no case weaker than Intel.)

se

Where that? I can't remember

Fr

When voting.

Oh and if "Intel" may sound that good… The Ryzen processors are just awesome. You will not regret it.

ma

Wait until the 3070 comes out. At the moment it makes little sense to buy a PC in this price range.

I also wrote in the question that I will do it that way

Fr

That's right 👍

ma

Then the configuration is neat.

The 100 euro that the 10700K costs more is due to the low additional power

vs the 3700x. There's also the "big" Ryzen 3900, which is equivalent in games, but much better for scalable applications. For overclocking, which could possibly increase the difference in performance, a more expensive mainboard, better cooling, etc.

PS: a used, but good 2080 / Super / TI should be in the near future

lie in the frame. Some are happy if they can get rid of them.

A 3070 will have the same performance as a 2080TI, and the 2080Tis safe won't go any further

al

Probably not new, but the used market is already at 600 euro. And if the upcoming tests show that a 3070 for 500 euro is faster than a 2080TI (with RTX in any case), then they are guaranteed to go further down.

I would definitely wait a week or two…
