Graphics card in the desktop mode now and then at 100% utilization?

As I said my graphics card is now and then in desktop mode at 100% utilization. If I look Twitch / Youtube or similar or several tabs on the same time stutters the picture briefly or it comes a blue screen with video tdr failure. An MSI 8GB Radeon RX 5700 XT Gaming X is mounted on an Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING B450 motherboard with Ryzen 7 3700x and 16GB memory. Driver video card is the 19.9.2 installed. Can it be that I have to update the BIOS?

Gu

That is possible. Also had the problem that I was always a load of 100% was displayed. Until then an update came and it works now. Have to see if there's an update, or wait until one comes

Thank you, yes I'll try a BIOS update this afternoon. The funny thing is only in games runs everything

I do not believe that a BIOS update is meant.

You should try updating your graphics drivers.

Maybe other drivers are outdated.

Try to find out:

You should first have your calculator examined.

First, you should "save" the existing drivers. And if possible create a complete backup (including boot medium), before you update any drivers with it.

The free version can only update 2 drivers per day.

I did not have any problems with that.

However, it may well be that a virus guard "alarm" suggests. This is not unusual as the driver installation program has to intervene quite deeply in the system.

In principle, malicious software uses quite similar procedures and the heuristic of the AV software jumps to that.

For a backup I recommend (for example) Paragon Backup & Recovery (free):
