Twitch affiliate business, tax office, taxes?

I'm already 18+, but for some reason I want to connect my Twitch channel to my father's account. I met the requirements for the affiliate program today and am now completing the tax interview.

My father is very skeptical and thinks there will be extra costs. As I understand it, the Twitch earnings are already taxed and in principle you don't have to do much after you have completed the tax interview. Several friends of mine (and their parents) think that they have neither registered a business, nor spoken to the tax office and have just filled out the tax interview and they have been streaming for a while.

Now to the question, does my father have to register a business, pay any extra costs or get in touch with the tax office? The opinions on the Internet are very divided and I can't find an exact answer to the question.

All he earns from it is revenue and he has to pay tax on it

it is also a trade

Of course it's a business. And yes, it has to be registered with the trade office. And then the tax office reports for tax registration.

And no, the income can't yet be taxed because nobody knows your tax rate…

If you don't recognize this, your business can only go wrong. And you want to pull your father in too?

So my friends face a penalty? Because, as I said, most people think they didn't do anything like this…

Gi

They probably have no idea either. And yes, at some point the authorities become aware of them and then there are sanctions. Why not. Everyone else has to pay tax on their income…

Thanks, one last question noch

When I register a business, I only pay 20-30 euro once, my father thinks he would have to pay even more taxes. Are there any extra costs afterwards? And if I earn very little, could I make a loss? (Without counting the business registration)

Gi

If you earn more than 9.4.08 euro after deducting the advertising costs, you will also have to pay income tax on it.

If it goes in the name of your father, who surely has another job that already includes the allowance, almost every cent earned in the business has to be taxed.
